Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a regular wall switch with the Petalo fan?

How quiet is the Petalo fan?

Very quiet. The pure copper DC motor operates with minimal noise — any sound you hear is from airflow, not the motor. DC motors are significantly quieter than standard AC fan motors.

Does the fan run in reverse?

Yes. The variable-frequency DC motor supports both forward and reverse rotation. Use forward mode in summer for cooling airflow, and reverse mode in winter to gently recirculate warm air that collects near the ceiling.

What color temperatures does the LED offer?

Three options: Warm White (3000K) — cozy and inviting; Neutral White (4000K) — balanced and versatile; Cool White (6000K) — bright and focused. Switch between them using the handheld remote.

What finish options are available?

Six body finishes: Wood Grain, Colourful, Black, Green, White, and Grey. All versions have a white acrylic lampshade.

Sizing & questions

Every piece is made to order in our own atelier — here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

What are the exact dimensions of the Petalo fan?+

The Petalo measures ∅35.4″ × H11″ (90 × 28 cm), delivering ~60W power with 6 fan speeds.

How quiet is the DC motor compared to standard fans?+
