Each globe is hand-cut from natural travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding vary piece to piece — these are core characteristics of the stone, not defects or damage. No two globes are identical, and the seam profile varies slightly between pieces.

Installation Notes
- Hardwired ceiling install — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- The drop cord shortens on-site; over a table or island, hang the globe so its base sits 30–36″ above the surface.
- The G9 bulb is included and replaceable inside the globe; a 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest glow through the seam.
- Dimmable with a compatible dimmable G9 bulb and a wall dimmer (not included).
- Travertine is a porous natural stone — open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the material, not flaws or damage. The diagonal seam profile also varies slightly between pieces.

How does the light come out of a solid stone globe?
The globe is cut on a diagonal into two halves and the lower half is offset, leaving an open seam between them. The G9 bulb sits inside, so light escapes through the gap and grazes the cut stone edges — a soft warm glow along the seam rather than a bright open shade. The porous travertine also lets a faint warmth show through the thinner areas.
The travertine has holes and pits — is that a defect?
No — those are natural to travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the stone, not flaws or shipping damage.
