A wide horizontal gingko bough chandelier — hand-fired porcelain leaves arranged along brass branches that spread outward like a real ginkgo bough. Five configurations: Model A in four widths (41.3″–70.9″, 8/10/12/14 heads) and Model B (43.3″, 6 heads). Standard ships in brushed gold; six finishes on request. Each leaf is hand-shaped — no two fixtures identical. Customer assembly required.

Product showcase — porcelain leaves on brass boughs

✦

Hand-fired porcelain leaves

Real porcelain, not composite. Each leaf hand-finished — subtle variation in tone and translucency.

◆

Brass bough armature

Flexible brass branches that you fan out by hand to shape the chandelier to your space.

▤

Five configurations

Model A in 4 widths (8–14 heads). Model B for tighter footprints. Choose by table or room size.

About glue marks on the leaves

Slight glue marks at the leaf-to-metal junctions are normal — they bond each ceramic leaf to its branch for stability and don't affect the appearance once installed. From normal viewing distance, the joints disappear into the silhouette.

Dimensions = fully assembled maximum span

The listed L × W × H values are the maximum span — measured after the brass branches are fully fanned out and all porcelain leaves installed. The fixture ships compact for transit and reaches the listed dimensions only after assembly. Plan ceiling and clearance based on the assembled span, not the shipping carton.

  • Hardwired ceiling mount — junction box required. Licensed electrician recommended for first-time installers.
  • Customer assembly required: branches ship folded for transit. Fan out each branch by hand and attach all porcelain leaves to reach the listed dimensions. See the Assembly Walkthrough above.
  • Hang 30–36″ above dining tables. For larger sizes (12 and 14-bulb), confirm ceiling structural rating before order.

Which configuration should I choose?

Match length to your dining table or room. Model B 6-bulb (43.3″) for 4–6 person tables or breakfast nooks. Model A 8-bulb (41.3″) for similar but wider spread. 10-bulb (49.2″) for standard 6–8 person dining. 12-bulb (59.1″) for 8-person or long tables. 14-bulb (70.9″) for 10-person dining or great rooms.

Does this require self-assembly?

Yes — customer assembly is required. The brass branches ship folded to protect the porcelain in transit. After hanging the metal frame, gently fan out each branch by hand to its full position, then attach each leaf to its branch tip. White leaves with nickel or white bodies snap in screw-free; gold or silver leaves use a small bonding screw. See the Assembly Walkthrough link above.

What bulbs do I need — G9 or E12?

US and Canadian customers order E12 candelabra LED bulbs. EU and Australian customers use G9 bi-pin LED bulbs. One bulb per head — so 6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 bulbs depending on your configuration. Bulbs are not included. For warm vintage ambient, choose 2700K–3000K at 3–4W per bulb.

Are the leaves real porcelain or composite?

Real porcelain ceramic — each leaf is hand-fired from porcelain clay and finished by hand. Each leaf carries small variation in shape, surface texture, and translucency from the hand-finishing process; this is what gives the fixture its sculptural depth.

What if a porcelain leaf arrives chipped or cracked?

Sizing & questions

Every piece is made to order in our own atelier — here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.

What size should I choose for my dining table?+

Model A 8-bulb (41.3″) fits tables up to 36″ wide. 10-bulb (49.2″) suits 42–48″ tables. 12-bulb (59.1″) spans 54–60″ tables. 14-bulb (70.9″) fits 66″+ tables. Model B (43.3″, 6-bulb) works for compact spaces. Hang 30–36″ above the table surface.

Can I customize the finish or size?+
What's the difference between Model A and Model B?+

Model A spreads wider (41.3″–70.9″) with 8–14 heads, ideal for larger dining areas. Model B (43.3″, 6 heads) has a more compact profile at 11.8″ height, fitting tighter spaces and lower ceilings while maintaining horizontal spread.

How do I clean the porcelain leaves?+

Each hand-fired leaf is real porcelain. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid excess moisture on the brass joints. Minor glue marks at leaf-to-metal connections are normal and disappear from normal viewing distance once installed.

What assembly and installation is required?+

Fan out brass branches by hand, attach porcelain leaves to reach listed dimensions. Hardwired ceiling mount requires a junction box and licensed electrician recommended. 59″ adjustable cable; extendable on request. See Assembly Walkthrough and Installation Guide (PDF downloads provided).
