Handwoven from natural rattan using traditional Javanese-inspired braiding techniques, each shade carries subtle variations that reflect the character of handmade craftsmanship. Available in four shapes, multiple sizes, and several pre-designed cluster combinations, this pendant can be used individually or arranged into a sculptural lighting installation.
Natural rattan variation
Each shade is individually handwoven from natural rattan. Variations in color, weave density, texture, and pattern are a normal characteristic of the material and handmade process. The actual color and appearance may vary slightly from the product photography due to natural material differences, lighting conditions, and screen settings.
Visible internal support frame
Please note that this pendant includes an internal metal support frame that helps maintain the shape of the handwoven rattan shade and securely supports the lamp holder.
Depending on the viewing angle, especially when looking upward from underneath the fixture, portions of the internal frame may be visible through the open weave. This is part of the fixture's structural design and is not a defect or missing component.
We recommend reviewing all product detail photos before ordering if the appearance of the fixture from underneath is important for your installation.
Natural material aging
The natural rattan and wood-toned components may gradually develop a slightly deeper, warmer tone over time due to exposure to air and light. This is a normal characteristic of natural materials and does not affect the performance of the fixture.

Yes — the wood naturally darkens over time. This is a normal characteristic of natural wood.

No. Each piece is individually handwoven, so slight variations in color and finish are expected and normal.

Model A: wide drum. Model B: flat wide disc. Model C: tall bell. Model D: tall narrow cylinder. Each has 2-3 size options.

What size should I choose for my kitchen island?+
Model A (∅23.6″ × H15″) suits most islands. Model B (∅19.7″) works for narrower counters. For clustered compositions, our atelier customizes sizing. Ensure 30″–36″ clearance above countertop.
Will the wood color match my photos?+
Natural wood gradually darkens over time—a normal characteristic. Initial color may appear lighter than photos. Each handwoven piece varies slightly in tone and weave pattern; this is expected artisan variation.
Can I mix models and finishes in one cluster?+
Yes. Our four pre-designed combos pair different models and finishes. Our atelier also creates custom multi-pendant clusters—discuss your vision during checkout or contact us directly.
What bulb and cable length do I need?+
Uses standard E26/E27 base (bulb not included). Warm Edison filament (2700K) recommended for dappled shadow effect. Cable is 78.7″ adjustable and extendable on request.
How do I clean the handwoven rattan?+
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture. Since each shade is handwoven from natural rattan, treat delicately to preserve the artisan weave and finishes.
